Most people who start trading quit within the first year.
You didn't.
And I think you already know that says something about you
But it also makes the fact you’re still struggling more confusing, doesn't it?
Because if you're still putting in the work
Why isn't it showing up in your bank account yet?
Well the answer to that is just simple psychology
The Psychology Of Staying Stuck
You got into trading to change your situation
But, you’re still working the same job
Stressing over the same bills
Saying no to the same things because you can't afford them.
That does more than just make you sad.
It keeps you stuck
Because here’s the thing… your brain is a pattern machine.
It sees repetition… and quietly starts treating that repetition as reality.
That’s why progress constantly feels so far away
Scientists call it learned helplessness.
Seligman discovered it in 1960 after conditioning dogs with electric shocks… and eventually, even with the cage door wide open, they stopped trying to leave.
They'd been conditioned to expect pain.
So they stopped moving altogether.
.Your brain has done the same thing.
Every red month has been adding another bar to a cage you can't even see anymore. That's why grinding harder alone rarely works.
You're using the same wiring that built the cage to try and break out of it.
The Inescapable Shock Reversal
But here’s Seligman also found the solution
He called it The Inescapable Shock Reversal
And it implied the only thing that broke the learned helplessness in the dogs
Was being physically guided through the exit by an outside force.
Someone had to move their legs for them, showing them a new outcome was possible
Before they'd start moving on their own.
Now, I can’t come and hold your hands over your keyboard showing you what to click
But what I can do is give you access to a framework that shows your brain exactly where to go, what to look for, and what to expect
Before you ever place a trade.
So then you’re not just following psychological patterns you can’t control
You’re following systems guiding you to an outcome
It that’s something you’d like to have in your trading journey
