- The book that made me profitable
The book that made me profitable
I question if I should just gate keep this information from you today,
But i’m feeling generous
So here it is,
For 90% of you reading this, I'll hold your hand when I say this...
You. Are. The. Problem.
I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but the reason your account keeps getting wiped out isn't because you don't know enough about the markets.
It's because you have a mental deficiency.
Can't hold winning trades?
Mental.
Keep making impulsive decisions?
Mental.
Always second-guessing yourself?
Mental.
I know I'm being harsh here and I empathize with you if you're in the trenches right now.
But when you fix what's happening between your ears...
You'll notice something odd start to happen.
Because skill isn't the only variable.
There's an invisible element that amplifies or blocks your results.
Let me explain how i got out of the trenches,
Two years ago, I had the same problem a lot of you might be having right now.
I understood the markets.
I could spot good setups.
I knew when to get in and out.
But I was still inconsistent as hell.
Some weeks I'd make $15k. Others I'd give back $20k.
The technical knowledge was there. But something else was missing.
So out of desperation I sought the most practical thing to do
Admit to my flaws, step back and learn,
Only then i came across this book,
Reality Transurfing.
A 700-page Russian book taught me something that completely shifted how I approach trading.
Forget trading actually,
life
There are invisible forces constantly trying to hijack your emotions.
The author calls them "pendulums."
Every time you see someone posting their massive gains on IG or your favorite doom scrolling platform
that's a pendulum hooking into your fomo.
Every time you make a desperate trade to "get back" your losses
pendulum.
Every time you switch methods because someone else's results look better
pendulum.
These forces feed on your emotional reactions.
Your fear. Your greed. Your desperate need to be right.
And they keep you trapped in cycles that guarantee failure.
But here's the breakthrough:
You can become invisible to them.
Not by fighting them. That just gives them more energy.
By becoming indifferent.
The Mirror Principle
The second concept that changed everything:
Reality reflects your internal state.
Not what you want. What you ARE.
If you approach the markets thinking "I hope this works" - you get random results.
If you trade from desperation - you attract desperate outcomes.
If deep down you believe you don't deserve to win - the market will prove you right.
But here's what most traders miss:
You can change the results by changing what you're broadcasting internally.
I started building a mental image of myself as a consistently profitable trader.
Not hoping. Not wanting. But living from that reality.
Making $30k months. Having complete freedom. Trading with total confidence.
And something shifted.
The same trades I'd been taking started working differently.
The pressure disappeared.
I stopped caring about individual trades and started seeing the bigger picture.
What actually changed
Before this book, I was playing checkers.
Fast. Emotional. Reactive.
Taking every setup. Fighting every loss. Constantly switching approaches.
After reading it, chess.
Calm. Deliberate. Three moves ahead.
I realized most traders are caught in the obvious game: trying to predict where price is going.
I switched to the real game: waiting for the market to show its hand, then reacting.
Instead of fighting against the market, I learned to flow with it.
The result?
I went from inconsistent results to consistent $30k months.
Not because I found a better strategy.
Because I found a better space for my mindset to grow from.
This book didn't teach me how to trade.
It taught me how to think like someone who wins.
How to stay neutral when everyone else is emotional.
How to be patient when everyone else is rushing.
How to execute what I already knew without second-guessing myself.
The book is dense,
But these two ideas - pendulums and the mirror principle,
will change how you see everything.
Not just trading. Life.
If you're ready to stop feeding the forces that keep you stuck...
If you want to finally execute what you already know...
Talk soon,
Atif,
