The $50,000 Mistake That Nearly Killed Me
This is serious
Hey Mate,
Look—there’s no sales pitch, no ads, no promotion. Just me and you.
We need to talk.
I don’t share this often. But today, I feel like I have to.
The $50,000 Mistake That Nearly Killed Me
At one point, I had nothing to show for years of effort.
No money.
No job.
No social life.
No hope.
I had spent months stuck in drawdown on my Topstep account.
I was down $1,500 out of $2,000. Every trade felt like life or death.
So, I just stopped trading. I would sit there, frozen, too scared to pull the trigger.
I was happier when I wasn’t in a trade because I didn’t have to face another loss.
And the stress? It broke me.
The Moment Everything Crashed
Then, one day, I ended up in the hospital.
Doctors couldn’t find anything wrong. No medical reason for my symptoms.
But I knew why.
It was stress—years of mental baggage, fear, and frustration that had nowhere to go except my body.
I had put everything into trading.
And it felt like trading had taken everything from me.
I never wanted to kill myself.
But I remember lying there in that hospital bed hoping I wouldn’t wake up.
Just so I wouldn’t have to keep struggling.
The Breaking Point
When I got out, I made a decision:
I either fix my life—or I die.
I didn’t want to die.
So I chose to fix my life.
I walked over to my desk, opened my Topstep account, and did something insane.
I intentionally blew the account.
After months of hesitation, I just placed reckless trades until it was gone.
And do you know what I felt?
Relief.
I was finally free.
I could move on.
How I Turned It Around
That moment forced me to rebuild from the ground up.
I had two choices:
Keep being a victim and let trading destroy me.
Figure it out and turn my life around.
I chose option 2.
I stopped making trading harder than it needed to be.
I simplified everything:
Liquidity. The only thing that truly moves the market.
Psychology. Trading is 90% mental, yet no one talks about it.
Keeping it simple. One model. One setup. One execution plan.
And piece by piece, I rebuilt.
Now?
I’m profitable, financially free, and helping others escape poverty too.
Trading isn’t just about money for me anymore.
It’s about freedom—and helping others achieve it too.
The Takeaway For You
This journey will break you before it makes you.
It will push you to your limits.
But it doesn’t have to be as painful as mine was.
Learn from my mistakes.
Focus on liquidity and psychology.
Keep your strategy simple.
Push through the hard times.
And if you’re struggling, please reach out.
To me. To someone.
Just don’t go through this alone.
P.S.
As I said before I’m not selling you.
But for those who are genuinely in my program, you can check it out here: Iron Forged Trading Program.
And if not, that’s fine too. I put out free content every day on YouTube and X to help traders like you.
Plenty of traders have become profitable with just my YouTube videos alone.
So wherever you are in your journey, just keep going. I promise—it’s worth it.
