first thing you need when trading any financial market...
you need a bias.
likely direction for the market.
if you don't have direction... you're gambling.
trading blind.
easiest way by far...
get the 4hour chart up for whatever asset you trade.
ask yourself which major high or low is price most likely to go for.
sounds stupid?
it works.
at this point in price action... if you open charts right here...
what high or low is smartest?
which high is price most likely to go for?
or is price more likely to come down and take out this low?
hopefully you said price is more likely to take out the high.
that's how you use liquidity.
gives you direction. your bias.
sweep
what i'm about to tell you is probably the hardest thing in trading.
if you understand this... congratulations.
you can become consistently profitable.
most traders assume price moves like this...
nice entry. stop here. straight to take profit.
buy the dip. you've heard this.
doesn't work.
you know this. you're still not profitable.
because you're not waiting for something called a liquidity sweep.
when we're bullish... price will move off.
go just below an old low where stop-loss orders sit.
take them out.
shoot off in opposite direction.
give smart money their high probability entry.
then ride straight to take profit.
that's how markets actually move.
