Last night I had a crazy dream

And honestly, getting up from bed today I had to take a moment to catch my breath

Because in the dream, I had almost LOST MY LIFE

But here's the thing

The crazy part wasn't almost dying. (Okay it was. But just a bit.)

It was the fact that I could directly relate that dream to why most traders lose money.

Which is exactly why I'm sharing it with you today.

So my nightmare can be at least your wake-up call.

Traders don't lose money on Bad trades

Most traders think they lose money on bad trades.

But they don't.

They lose it in the 45 minutes before the market opens.

Now if that sounds strange, stick with me… I'll explain

See, your brain has a limited number of sharp, clear decisions per day.

And every time you sit down to mark up charts… hunting for structure, debating whether that FVG is real or just a weird candle

You're spending them.

And by the time a real setup shows up

You've already used your best bullets on the warm-up act.

That was the move that almost cost me my life in my dream…

…For some reason I was being chased by a gang of thieves

It was dark, and I was in a forest setting

Luckily for me I found a gun while I was on the run

But then I did something stupid

I wasted the bullets shooting at every sound I heard in the bushes… and when the real threat appeared

I had nothing left.

Thankfully I woke up without a scar :)

But for you reading this, you have to understand that wasting your mental bullets will leave you much more than a scar

It will leave you with

  • Setups you saw but didn't take

  • Trades you took but shouldn't have

  • A blown account and a full chart

Here's how you protect your mental energy

As a trader you should always look for ways to preserve your mental energy for the actual trading itself

I do this by using flux charts

It helps me:

  • See exactly where liquidity is sitting without spending an hour hunting for it

  • Walk into every session with key levels already mapped and ready

  • Save my sharpest thinking for the one moment that actually pays: the entry

If you want to show up to every session sharp and ready to pull the trigger, you get it here.

Honestly at this point it's not even a nice to have

Because the market rewards the sharpest mind in the room.

So by all means,  make sure that's you.

Atif
