how to pass prop firms (every time)
Hope you're enjoying your Sunday.
Going to be jumping into something a lot of you might be struggling with right now…
prop firm challenges
Average traders fail prop firm challenges because they're not really who they think they are, or even who they should be in those moments.
they think it's about finding the perfect strategy... hitting home runs... proving they're the next Paul Tudor Jones.
relax,
It's about being boring. systematic. mechanical.
prop firms don't want cowboys. they want assertive yet calm individuals that print consistently.
think about it from their perspective.
they're not looking for the trader who can turn $10k into $100k in a week.
they're looking for the trader who can turn $10k into $11k... every single week... for the next five years.
the guy who never breaks their rules. never gets emotional. never tries to be a hero.
that's the trader who gets funded.
that's the trader who stays funded.
I can understand, not taking risk can be gauging
You want to be special.
You want to be different.
You want your trading to reflect this persona you've built in your mind.
This is exactly why people fall off.
You'll get there, trust me, but you need to start off from a grounded perspective
I learned this lesson the hard way after failing my first three challenges.
I was trying to prove I was smart. trying to show them my "edge." trying to make every trade a masterpiece.
all I was doing was proving I couldn't follow simple instructions.
the breakthrough came when I stopped trying to impress everyone and anyone.
when I realized that prop firms are basically asking you one question,
"can you follow the rules while making money?"
that's it.
not "are you the next trading prodigy?"
not "do you have some secret strategy?"
Just, "can you be disciplined enough to extract money from markets without breaking our risk parameters?"
once I understood this…
I started passing challenges consistently. not because I became a better trader overnight... but because I finally understood what game that was being played.
the interesting part is what happened after I started getting funded.
I realized that the same systematic approach that got me through challenges was exactly what I needed to scale real capital.
turns out prop firms aren't just testing your trading ability. they're testing your ability to think like a machine instead of a human.
humans get excited.
humans get scared.
humans make emotional decisions.
machines follow algorithms. machines stick to plans.
machines don't care about being right or wrong... only about following the process.
this is why I've been using this same indicator for the past year now.
not because it’s magic. not because it's the secret.
but because it helps me operate like a machine.
and puts my pride and ego to the side,
removes the guesswork. removes the emotion.
tells me when to enter... when to exit...
when to stay out completely.
and most importantly... they keep me within the risk parameters that prop firms actually care about.
the tool suite I use has helped thousands of traders pass their prop firm challenges.
it's designed around the same principle I just explained to you.
be systematic. be consistent. be boring.
If you want to trade like a systematically designed weapon, this suite is a good place to start.
And once you're profitable, you can get a little loud then
But for now, stay quiet
Talk soon,
Atif
P.S. short side note, the prop firms that "lost their license" right when you were about to get paid knew exactly what they were doing. They didn't lose shit – they stole from you and called it business. Learn from this.
