This might be controversial, but I’ll be honest:

Most traders fail because of prop firm challenges.

And I’ve blown a lot of them myself.

Why?

Because the rules are designed to push you into gambling.

Most firms require:

  • 8% in phase 1

  • 5% in phase 2

  • A 5% daily drawdown cap

That’s 13% before you can even start making money.

But most consistently profitable traders only make 2–4% a month.

So why are we all trying to do that in a single week?

It leads to overtrading. Overrisking. And blowing up.

What I’m Doing Instead
